Venue Description

Driftwoods

Driftwoods is an exquisite contemporary floating venue on the River Thames, reimagining river entertainment with its pavilion-style design and panoramic glass walls. These walls frame a cinematic 360-degree view of London’s iconic riverbank, creating a truly unforgettable backdrop for any occasion. The interiors, meticulously designed by leading British designer Tom Dixon, blend sophisticated aesthetics with comfort.

The venue offers distinct, flexible spaces including The Long Room, a warm and modern dining area, The Music Room with a smooth, soft grey dance floor for lively gatherings, and a central bar featuring mirrored arched shelving and soft lighting. Spacious outside decks, seamlessly integrated via huge sliding doors, allow guests to immerse themselves fully in the city’s skyline and open air, enhanced by electric canvas awnings for flexible shade and air conditioning for year-round comfort.

Driftwoods is a highly versatile venue, ideally suited for a wide array of events, from corporate parties to festive gatherings, accommodating up to 265 guests standing or 180 for seated dining.

It boasts a professional galley capable of producing hyper seasonal menus, from roving bowl food and canapés to seated multi-course dinners. As the more casual yet equally refined sibling of Woods’ Silver Fleet, Driftwoods upholds a legacy of luxury, sustainability and meticulous service yet curated conveniently in package format for ease so that you can “just add guests”.
