The Brief

Ex Events was tasked with managing a milestone 25-year celebration for a client, requiring a memorable day-into-evening party in London.

The brief was to source an iconic rooftop venue offering panoramic views, reflecting the significance of the occasion. The event needed to showcase the city’s beauty from bright daylight through to dusk and nighttime, creating an immersive experience.

Key objectives included full event management, designing a dynamic menu spread across the event, incorporating diverse entertainment options, and delivering seamless AV support. Branding integration across food and beverage elements was also requested to reinforce the client’s identity.

Delivery

The stunning Savage Garden rooftop was secured, providing guests with breathtaking panoramic views of London from afternoon sunshine to the glow of dusk and night-time city lights.

The bespoke menu featured a progression of catering styles, starting with canapés, moving to bowl food and BBQ, and finishing with a spectacular dessert buffet featuring fresh fruit and mochis.

Entertainment included a steel band, magician, saxophone player, DJ, karaoke parlour, and photography management. A guest even played a special one-hour DJ set, adding a personal touch to the celebrations.

Results

The event was a vibrant and unforgettable celebration of 25 years, with guests raving about the stunning venue. Entertainment received outstanding feedback for variety and engagement, especially the personal DJ set that created lasting memories.
