The Brief
To mark their milestone 25th anniversary, our client wanted to stage a celebration worthy of the occasion – a bold, high-energy summer party for 900 guests that would leave a lasting impression. The concept drew inspiration from the iconic NOW That’s What I Call Music! albums, with a playful twist: NOW That’s What We Call People Powered 25. The theme tied perfectly into the company’s culture of celebrating its people while tapping into the nostalgia of the 2000s.

We worked in collaboration with the client to create a one-of-a-kind experience that combined live entertainment, interactive elements, and relaxed summer dining, all wrapped in a throwback atmosphere. It needed to be vibrant, inclusive, and brimming with personality.
Delivery
From the outset, we leaned into the noughties theme, creating a space where guests could relive the soundtrack of their younger years while celebrating the company’s remarkable journey.

The iconic City Central at the HAC provided the perfect backdrop, blending central London convenience with expansive outdoor areas. A nostalgic funfair set the playful tone, while an immersive photo parlour – complete with Y2K props, bright backdrops, and themed staging – encouraged guests to capture the fun. A hearty BBQ buffet, designed for relaxed alfresco dining, kept the atmosphere informal and sociable.
Every detail, from branded signage at guest registration to music-inspired décor, reinforced the NOW concept. The entertainment was the centrepiece: chart-toppers Toploader brought singalong energy with Dancing in the Moonlight, before legendary Judge Jules took over with a high-energy DJ set, ensuring the dance floor stayed packed until the very last track.

Results
Attendees praised the smooth organisation and the clever play on the NOW branding, noting how it made the event feel both personal and relevant.

We thoroughly enjoyed working in tandem with the client to achieve everything they had hoped for: a joyful thank-you to their people, a showcase of their company culture, and a milestone moment that would be remembered long after the final song.
Feedback in the days following was glowing, with guests calling it one of the most memorable events in the company’s history – a fitting tribute to 25 years of People Power.
